Fleshwalk: An Experience
Role: Lead Designer, Solo Developer
Tools: Unity, C#, Maya, Photoshop
Fleshwalk: An Experience is an Avant-garde first-person shooter that uses imagery of body horror to explore topics of expectation and self-forgiveness. Players traverse the world of Karmabog, a dreamlike scape digitally sculpted using the skin of my face. It is an invitation for players to immerse themselves in an artistic portrayal of the designer’s experiences with physical illness and mental health. It is meant to be a short and poignant experience for the player, showcasing insecurity, visceral feelings, and that sometimes the monster may not be as scary as it seems. Fleshwalk serves as my work-in-progress MFA thesis.

Physical Release
As a fun, community-oriented way to raise funds for the project, I have handcrafted early access physical releases that are sold at conventions, flea markets, and carried in DC-local comic book shop, Fantom Comics. I create both disc and USB-cassette (flash drive) versions.
